I like the stove top recipe for beans since seems a bit easier. I will try air frying as well but stir frying allows for cooking of the pork. the fat from the pork is probably enough to cook the beans. The first time I used oil and put the beans and pork but came out a bit oily but maybe they are more dried if you first cook the pork and use the fat to cook the beans. Under high heat they get nicely charred.

Ingredients

  • 1T soy sauce
  • 1/2t sugar
  • drizzle sesame oil
  • 1-2 gloves minced garlic
  • ginger (optional)
  • slice red chiles (optional)
  • bit of peanut oil or canola
  • 1 8oz or 12oz bag of green beans
  • 1/4lb ground pork

Steps

  • microwave beans on plate covered with paper towel 2-3m until slightly wrinkled, dry off
  • while microwave cooking mix soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger,chiles
  • in pan heat oil
  • when hot saute the pork and break up into small pieces with spatula
  • add beans and for a few minutes
  • add sauce
  • cook until beans charred and pork is cooked, sauce thickens
  • take off heat
  • nice with some jasmine rice, also delicious meal with fried egg over top
